We are searching for a Lead Generation Team Leader. Your first objective will be to build your team. Your team will be the first point of contact for most of our prospects and is a critical role in establishing Exchange Media Group as the leading marketing agency in our area. Your team will focus on qualifying and generating new sales opportunities to support our Business Development team’s pipeline. You will coach, mentor and develop your team. You will be in charge of managing their daily activities, growth plan and overall lead generation strategy. Your office hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday in our Fayetteville office.
Develop new leads to call
Contact and qualify cold and warm prospects via phone and/or email
Team members should make a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day
Respond to all inbound inquiries
De-duplicate new leads against the current database
Develop email concepts to target prospects
Qualify and pass leads to Account Manager and Business Development teams
Achieve daily, weekly and monthly activity and sales lead objectives
Learn and effectively apply our structure and consultative prospecting approach
Maintain all sales activity within our CRM system
Show up every day with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Focus on team contributions as well as your own successes
College degree or equivalent work experience
1+ years of outbound sales experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to converse and build rapport with internal and external customers at all levels from front-line staff to C-suite
Driven with strong desire to succeed and track record of achieving and exceeding goals
Ability to quickly learn new industry and terminology
Overall interest in technology solutions with solid tech skills (Google mail/shared calendars) and experience or ability to quickly learn CRM tools such as Nutshell.com
Strong active listening and influence skills

Holiday and Vacation Time: Exchange Media Group observes 7 paid holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). Exchange Media Group gives employees a paid day off for their Birthday! Employees become eligible for holiday pay and birthday time off after their first 90 days of employment.
PTO: Years of Service - 0-23 Months receive 15 Days per year; 24-59 Months receive 20 Days per year; 60+ Months receive 25 days per year
Insurance: Full-time employees may participate in a medical insurance plan offered through the company. The Company pays 60% of the monthly premium for the employee. Each employee pays the first $2,250 of their deductible; the company pays the next $1000; the employee pays the remainder of the $5,500 deductible.
- 401(k) Retirement Plan: You may participate in a 401(k) plan. After your first year of employment, the company will match 100% of your contribution of 3% of your income and 50% of your contribution of 4% and 5% of your income.
- Savings Plan - You can have money deducted from your pay each week that goes into a savings plan that earns 2.6% interest per annum. You can put as little as $5 per week, keep the total of your savings balance to a maximum of $5,000, take out money a minimum of every six weeks.
