Provide systems engineering technical support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) - System Engineering Test Requirements (DE/EEF) by identifying and resolving complex problems crossing organizational boundaries, as well as promulgating solutions. Position may require occasional travel. Duties:
Support MDA/EEFE (EEF Execution) ground test team. General Duties:
Perform mission analysis, capability requirements and allocation analysis, top-level design synthesis, and functional analysis and allocation.
Engage in concept planning; design and development; integration, testing and verification at the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) system, element or component level.
In cooperation with coworkers, identify needs of internal and external customers and address their concerns.
Develop and present technical briefings and reports to Senior Executives. Detailed Duties:
Support Continuous Integration / Continuous Agile Testing (CI/CAT) integration into Test Planning beginning with Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP) 19.0 with execution starting in FY21.
Aid the Increment Test Requirements Lead (ITRL) with responsibilities for full requirements insight and test sufficiency across sequenced BMDS development increments and linked Flight Test and Ground Test events.
Identify, track and assist in resolving Action Items and Watch Items resulting from the test requirement coordination process.
Develop executive level briefings based upon supervisor vision and guidance. Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 7 yrs experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) in research & development role.
Active Secret clearance required.
Experience supporting Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) test planning and/or requirements highly desired.
